where is the "plant" being built? is this a new thing, where all houses are being built indoors. cause i've never heard of this before. i heard other people talking about it but i never really understood.

The "plant" is on Tremaine just south of Derry on the east side. You can't miss it, looks like a huge metal barn.

oh yea i have seen it...i just didnt know what it was. so there going to built our homes their and then when all the houses are complete they're going to take it down?? or is it going to be there forever. where did you find out about the "plant"??

Yes it's a bit of a distraction against the background of the escarpment. I don't think it's going anywhere soon with future phase plans but it would be interesting to find out Mattamy's plans for after the fact. Have you all made your interior choices now?

Yeah we choice all our interior stuff a while back, i'm very nervous to see what everything is going to look like. my fiance and i drove by some of the semi's on thompson and we took a look at a home that is the same model as ours (southbury), so i kind of know what to expect, if you want to take a look at your model you should drive by and see if they have it....it wont say on the front door which model it is, you have to be your own judge on the exterior...if it looks like ur home, ut if you go inside, on the patio door it says which model it is. hey everyone,
did anyone else get a letter from Mattamy saying that their house is being delayed. we got our letter on Friday. Our original closing date was suppose to be September 6th and it got delayed to November 22nd they delayed us by 80 days...i only suppose that everyone else is gonna get delayed too.

Uh huh... we got the dreaded delay letter too. We were supposed to close December 5th/07, now not until the third week in January.

That really bites. We just sighned with an agen to sell our house that we are in now. We wanted to sell while the market was hot.

Not yet, I guess with all the delays, Mattamy must be delaying the exterior choices as well. I guess we'll have to update our ticker turtle...The race with the Hare is extended to January.
