Just found out that Mattamy has a deal set with Cogeco that gives us a few months free services with no commitments.

After being with cogeco for years we are happy to make the switch to bell for the new fibe tv and internet! I'm glad bell finally has an alternative to satellite tv :D

Oh, Bell has fibe TV in Milton? That's a good news. What is the speed of their fibe internet, 25mb?

Be forewarned, kind folks on this street.

You have or will have an imbecile for a neighbour.

We just watch a guy stand at the north end of your street, 20 minutes ago and watch while his two young young boys pulled out the Heathwood lot markers and chase two geese with their two day old goslings, throw the stakes as them as well as rocks. Stood there for about 15 minutes. He seemed amused by their activity.

Hope you are proud of your kids. Don't want to imagine what they will do when they are older. you sir are a complete idiot!

Cheers
Bob

I am singed up with the higher speed cogeco service (not sure, but thought it was Turbo 20). I recommend doing the same for the first 3 months and then calling back for a "lite" speed version if you want. The reason, is because it is free for 3 months and you may be able to have the higher end modem included that you can keep if you go to a slower speed. There is a charge for the upgraded modem required for higher speeds, so you can avoid this charge down the road if ever you want the faster version.

I just wanted to let Lot #19 and #20 know that Mattamy watered your back yards yesterday for a couple of hours. They have laid the sod and I know that you guys are not moved in for still a couple of weeks.

Hey everyone again. Was wondering if anyone has the dark colour stained (expresso) or any other stained kitchen cabinets that the colour is off. We have them in the kitchen but Im not happy with the way the stain has settled or been sprayed on.. I can see gaps inbetween the trim and it looks awful. Thanks,

Roger & Mandy

Hey Roger, our cabinets are in and the espresso color is what we expected. Hope fully you had Mattamy address your concerns.

Mattamy completed a full duct cleaning on my first home before I took possession. Can anyone confirm they still offer this as a service.

Joe

Yes, its included...check your schedule A

Greg

The ducts are cleaned but the furnace is not cleaned. Most of them are very dirty. If you are up to it, I would suggest that you clean the furnace with a vacuum and plan to replace the furnace filter with a better one than what is provided.

Filtrete pleated 16 X 25 X 1 inch filters are available in a 4 pack at Home Depot for $44.95. They are the best filters for good filtration and good air flow. The packaging is red.

The furnace filter slot should have a cover. If it is missing then insist that the builder provide it.

I believe the filters installed are 5 ". Nobody in town stocks them. At least mine are. You are lucky if your furnance takes a 1" filter.

Hey Vista 6 neighbors, has anyone of you guys got quartz counter top from Mattamy? Did you check how thick is the slab? 2cm or 3cm? Thanks.
