I too haven't received anything and close in March. Perhaps there is a next go that we will be? Let me know if you call what they respond. I was considering getting the info from someone on here and crashing the party.. haha ;)

Cristina & Greg you have 3/4 of a first floor now!! We went by the site again tonight- I think we're addicted! lol and I was pleasantly surprised to see that more than half of your first floor is up and they are also working on the other other houses next door to you as well. House is looking good! :D

Cristina was by and she called me all excited about the first floor. I've (Greg) not been up to Milton in a few days but plan on seeing the progress tomorrow. We're both really excited!

Heh, not complaining, but keep an eye on your home. We've noticed numerous mistakes made already but they have been quick at the construction office to fix them so far.

And we got our invitation late last week for Mattamy U.

Cristina & Greg

Hi Greg!

Do you mind me asking what kind of mistakes you've noticed so far on your home that they have fixed? Just curious.... we go up just about daily at the moment and we'll be heading up there tonight after dinner to see if they have finished the roof yet. We have been checking on our upgrades to ensure they have been done and so far everything is looking good. Hope to meet you and Cristina at Mattamy U.

Sure, not a problem.
- They poured our foundation footings wrong. Basically every Hazelnut has the fireplace on the side- except ours, it is on the backwall. So they had to pour impromptu footings on the back for where the fireplace actually is. No biggie here.

- Extra window in basement foundation. Our lot is a lookout view- as a result we get 3 windows in the basement that are rear facing. We were concerned that they would consider the window on the side as our third window (that should've been on the angled part of our "turret"). In the end, we probably should've let it go and argue the extra window later. :)

- Window location in Kitchen is wrong. We have the alternate kitchen layout that moves our sink from the side to the island, moving the stove in its place. So, there should be no window where one is currently cut out.

Minor things really, and all easily fixable. Just like staying on top of them so it is done right. :)

And yes, we should be at Mattamy U- we have an appointment at 6:30pm that we are trying to move but even if not, it is very close to the place and we might be the ones walking in 10-15 minutes late! :)

Cristina & Greg.

We are closing Feb 18 and haven't received invitation for Sept 2 Mattamy U, so I guess there will be another one in Nov for people closing in Feb/March next year.

Hey Cooldude - they haven't started yet....so close though!!!! We are excited, and surprised - I didn't think they would start digging until early October (120 days before). It bodes well for not being delayed again!

Also, I don't know if you spoke with Amanda from Mattamy, but our Mattamy U will be late September/early October.

Pretty much. Obviously we do have some fine tuning to do and some things to stick on the walls. Our office is a complete disaster with manuals and more paperwork for the house... we'll fine time and a home for it all shortly!

We are loving the quite neighborhood at night, and trying to enjoy the mess and dust and noise coming from the construction workers bright and early in the morning! ;)

We got confirmation from our builder that we will have our first coat of asphalt within a week and a half and some sod shortly after that. They are currently working on the curbs on pringle. ITS NOISY!!
