We just had our 30 day service today and the service was excellent!
Although not all of the items on our list was completed, the rep who came went through our 30 day list at the beginning then started working on the items. He was very professional and even went above and beyond to find little paint chips (which were not on our list). There will be other follow-up appointments to address the outstanding items, but I was amazed at the level of customer service. I honestly did not expect that level of service from a builder.

We were thrilled that they finally cleaned our street last night after we called to complain. That was fast!!
Pringle is swept all the time but the side streets were left with inches of dirt/dust. woo hoo not anymore, it does have to be cleaned by Milton by-law.

Now we're waiting to get our street lights working at night, if anyone else has this issue if you could also call so Mattamy will be sure to get it done quickly. We don't feel that it's very safe. As my husband said "goodness forbid there is an emergency and we have to tell 911 to look for the street with no lights, and good luck trying to find a house in pitch black darkness"

Thanks!

I must say wow!

Looks like Nunn Crt is going look like it is done very soon. The last house (or two) are being framed and it is starting to become a neighborhood!

The rest of the Vista area is coming along nicely too! It has changed so much in the last 5-6 months it is crazy!

Greg.

Unfortunately not a heck of a lot of action on my place (Wettlaufer, however is booming). We close in March so Mattamy tells me we won't be dug until beginning of November. Thats when things get interesting for us. Only thing before that is a meeting for colour selection next week and more upgrades onto the credit card. Boo!

I have noticed the same about the workmanship. As I have been "peeking" at my house that is ready in 7 weeks.

I am by no means an expert, but I have enough common sense to identify a sloppy job.

I will remain calm until the final product is ready.

SDF,
Really sorry to hear about the problems that you are having with the house. It seems like each house has it's own distinct problems. There is no excuse for two grout colours & a leaky main floor.
Once again, these guys are trying to slap these up as quick as they can.
I'll be on them for sure, once they start messing up these little details.

I am closing on Oct 22nd. This is our first house. I do not know what should I do before closing. Can anyone explain little about the procedure and things must be done before closing? I think I need to call Milton Hydro and Reliance Gas for their services. And I need to arranged Home Insurance before closing as well.
Thanks

What a dusty mess pringle ave is this week. I understand it is a construction site. But the homes are almost done.

In terms of the utilities - it's best to contact each of them to let them know the new owners' names and your closing date. I believe Mattamy notifies them, but to ensure you have everything working on your closing day, it can't hurt to make the call too.
Here are the places we contacted prior to our closing date.
Milton Hydro
Union Gas
Reliance (Water Heater Rental)

All the best on your moves.

I noticed they put up the house numbers this week. Why do they skip a few? I.E there is no 305, 301 but there are 299, 303 etc...
