Okay, so I'm better now. I'm slowly coming to grips with the DeRo trade. The fact that New York lost a snoozer on Saturday to 2nd year MLS team Philadelphia Union helps a bit.

What helped even more was the Reds play on the road against the San Jose Earthquakes. I've thought San Jose has looked strong in this still early season so I was a little worried about how TFC would fare.

I was able to watch up until half way through the second half (had to pick up the wife from a girls spa day) and liked what I saw. They seemed to have kept up with San Jose and from what I read they seemed to dictate the pace for the better part of the rest of the half.

TFC took the lead earlier on in the first half on a great goal by Alan Gordon, his second in two weeks. So far so good but I looked up his stats lastnight, his career high for goals scored in a season is something like 5. Not getting too excited yet, I've seen Chad Barrett play. Ba Doom Ching! San Jose tied it up at the end of the first setting up the 1 -1 draw.

I didn't comment on last weeks game for a few reasons. #1 I was in shock over the DeRo trade. #2 I was at the game and don't vividly remember much as consumption of numerous alcoholic beverages were needed in order to mark the day of my birth. I remember the missed Maicon goal (we were section 131, first row, right behind the net) and I remember shouting at the Chivas goalie Kennedy telling him he sucked over and over (trying to break him down). My buddy and I were also shouting at the subs running on the side line, yelling, "YOU"RE NEVER GONNA PLAY!".

I've decided I'm not going to mention DeRo anymore. Time to move on.
