Post subject:  SOLD - $100k over asking! 4 Bedroom Detached in Bronte Meado
This was an interesting one. We listed originally in early July at $569,900. Two offers, both just over asking. Accepted one, it fell apart on financing. Went back to the other, got an accepted offer, and they then walked away because they didn't like the wallpaper in the front hall (true story!).

Clients were a little disheartened, so we decided to wait until after Labour Day to relist. Reduced the asking price to $539,900, as clients wanted a quick sale and hoped the lower price would attract more serious buyers. Wow - did it ever! 47 showings in 6 days, 9 offers and $100,100 over asking. Congrats to our clients - they were calm and rational the whole way through, even when they had every right to be upset with the quality of buyers we were dealing with.
