Just a heads up for all. We got our call last week, and picked our exterior package on Sunday. All new packages, so it was hard to picture things as they are no homes with the exact packages out there. Took 2 hours for us, with a lot of imagining...

My fiance and I were there last night... we were in and out within 15 minutes!!!! There were only four packages to choose from????
Thankfully, we had first choice! :)
Why did it take others two hours??? I'm confused... ???? What house models did you guys buy?

For us, 50' Cranberry. 4 total packages to choose from (SS1, 2, 3, 4). Two hours because we wanted the darker moca stucco from SS3, but liked the stone from SS2. It was just a lot of flip flopping because SS3 had all brown tones, more richer, but maybe an overkill. SS2 was more neutral and safe, with black shutters. Then approx 70 minutes into it, I threw a monkey wrench and brough the Dark Sage stucco package in the mix... We thought we would be in and out, but obviously that didnt happen for us. Plus the cookies and coffee sort of took a lot of our time :)

Does it really matter what they offer you???

Pick the brick colour you like (its the hardest to change later). Everything else you can paint and change to whatever you want after closing.

If you really want to you can even paint or change the brick, or stucco over it after closing.

So what they offer or don't offer is kind of irrelivant if you have your mind set on a particular colour scheme.

hmmm i don't think they'll offer me my black garage door with a big yellow smiley face on it haha :P

I honestly thought we would be in and out of there in 10 minutes. I thought wrong.

We had an idea of what we wanted walking in, but it wasn't offered in any of the packages. We too wanted a nice mocha coloured stucco but the brick and stone in that package (I think it was SS2) was all brown as well. I think it was overdone.

After all was said and done, we went with the first package which had a nice sage stucco (something different) and it had the nicest stone for the front accents. It will really make the color of the stucco pop.

Zee-shan - I think you were there at the same time we were. Our appt. was for 1pm and you were looking at the samples when we came in. What did you end up going with? :)

Hey, yeah it was us there at the same time. The sage was nice, but we didnt have enough stone to make the move. I think we settled for SS2? Not the darker mocha with all bornw, but the one with black shutters and lighter cream stucco (not the lightest one).

I hope it was SS2? The brown moca was nice, but I agree it was too chocolatey for our liking overall

Came back from the final signing of the purchase agreement today for phase 5a and found out that our exterior color selections are the same as phase 4 (SS1, SS2, SS3 and SS4).
