We visited our friends yesterday who just moved recently to a Mattamy house. They had a dimmer light switch in the dinig room and one in the Master bedroom. That is standard. Cool eh

Really? I didn't think the dimmer switches were standard. I remember our design consultant saying it's an upgrade (which we didn't go for because of price). I haven't seen dimmer's standard in other houses?

Maybe your friend was lucky and they somehow got one in for free? Or...has anyone else heard about this becoming a standard?

We are in phase 1 of HV and the dimmer switch in both of those rooms was standard. Not sure if this is still the case but it is a great bonus if it is! :D

Glad to hear it is standard in those 2 rooms. I'm happy that I was mistaken on this! :) Any Phase 12ers that can confirm it was standard in their houses as well?

Hey Rick!

As you know we're phase 12, and yes, the dimmer switches ARE standard for our homes! (I know about them because I needed to relocate the dining room one as I'm making a different room a dining room - and Mattamy was able to relocate the standard switch for FREE).

It's a nice standard I think!
