I am currently looking to outfit my home with new appliances (stove, fridge, dishwasher, range hood, washer/dryer) and looking for suggestions on where to get the best deal. Kitchen is all Bosch and KitchenAid, washer and dryer are whirlpool. If anyone has suggestions that would be appreciated, I have already priced the list out at the Brick, and Goemans. But any other store suggestions are welcome.

Can I ask what brand and style of appliances you bought? How much did you pay (roughly) ?

After visiting a number of places we ended up going with Goeman's they were able to price competitively with every other appliance store we went to and on top of that the customer service was spectacular. They helped us get everything we wanted with great advice, good suggestions and without being the least bit pushy. Those guys really know their appliances and it shows.

Retailers always seem to say it has to be the same item and have the same conditions (if you are using a don't pay until 2009 they won't match a regular price). So if the site will deliver here, then they might if it is the same model and everything. But if it is just a website for prices in the U.S. most will not match the price.

went through this 2 years ago.

After all was said and done and no price matching as advertised at stores, I ended up at Sears. Got a great deal, great warranties and great service.

We also looked around and decided to go with sears.

One of the things you may want to consider is what kind of warranty coverage is offered on the appliances, what reviews the appliances you're looking at received (ie: maytag vs. LG or something). We found that Kenmore was often rated as one of the best (ie: top 5) brands. There's also deferral options where you can potentially defer the cost for up to 12-15 months. Make sure that you clarify with the seller whether they charge you interest during this time. Some do.

Also, the sales guy we are working with at Sears told us that even though we already got awesome discounts on all the appliances we bought with him, if they have any extra sales that apply between now and when we actually get the appliances delivered he will honour them and lower the cost even more. ie: we just did that on our washer. We noticed the price was listed $50 less online than what we paid.
