Would anyone happen to have the The Sherkston upgrade list available to post? We haven't had our appointment scheduled yet but really anxious to see how much we can actually afford...thanks in advance!

I now see why nobody responded to this thread; received our upgrade "bible" on the weekend - overwhelmed at the amount of upgrades that are available and more so the cost!!
Will be going though it with a fine teeth comb but already I can safely say that I'll be doing the majority of the upgrades on my own.

Yea, you are right. Its a long list to post online and usually people will only end up giving you the prices for any particular upgrade you had in mind. It is a bit overwhelming and gets confusing so take your time and look thru everything thoroughly.

Yes, we got our Sherkston "BIBLE" yesterday, we called design center on Sunday and later they called us back the "BIBLE" is ready to be picked up..LOl.... I went right away to grab it, but found very disappointing everything is sooooooooooo pricy very over priced, we were looking for Quartz counter top and thought it would be under 4.5K but its tooooo expensive.. romey said very well we also looking doing upgrades by our own..

Just wondering if we go for A/c which is around 3.6k, would it be a good idea taking it from builder and even don't understand about the warranty is it from the builder or the original company. Also don't know what brand of A/c the mattamy installs. Any idea guys?

Thanks
hiz

For real, a table of contents or index would go a long way, definitely something to put in the mattamy suggestion box. We're going with the grande kitchen, a few bathroom upgrades and the upgraded faucets, that's it! Everything else we'll hire to get done or will be done ourselves, well on my way to becoming handy! Ha

We wanted to have Granite/Quartz countertop from mattamy but it didn't work too expensive. Later I went to Granite shop here in milton on main st. I would say anything you are looking for they have it. The owner seems very nice and professional and the rate are amazing just for an idea for you guys those have the same model Sherkston is UNDER 4K or even less. including installation, removal, under mount double sink and plumbing..

Mattamy is rip off...

If you like to visit that place let me know..It will worth it.

Generally granite counters & hardwood floors are cheaper to do after closing. Builders like to make $$$ on upgrades unfortunately. It's usually best to get structural upgrades from the builder & things that are hard to change later like your hardwood stairs, kitchen cabinets, tiles, taller ceilings, etc.
