I noticed this is now an option for some homes. Any idea on the cost?

We paid $10,000. Phase 17. Not sure if they increased the price.

If you do this option be sure to ask if the door and door frames are included in the price.

8ft doors are included when the 9' package is ordered for the 2nd floor

Oh I asked about that too, LOL, I would have compromised on the 2nd floor to get higher basement ceiling.
