what does your average day look like in terms of the foods you eat.

Today I had the following:
6 cups water
2 cups fruit smoothie (1 banana, 1/4 apple, raspberries) and vanilla protein
2 servings of spelt pasta with home made roasted red pepper sauce & veggies
1 serving of vegetable & pineapple cuscus
1.5 servings of thai stir fried vegetables
3 bananas
12 or so medjool dates
1 whole grain toast spread with honey and topped with sliced bananas
1 horse pill of a multi-vitamin

* I consider one handful to be a serving

Well you eat far better than I...this is what my Thursday looked like

A large cup of oatmeal with a sprinkle of organic cane sugar
A coffee with ff creamer stuff
A banana
A can of healthy request vegetable chicken soup
3 slices of pumpkin seed and oats ryvita bread
1/2 serving steak with some fried veg
A bottle of gatorade

No excuses but I was rushing all day, I don't think I ate enough which is usually my downfall. And I have a hard time getting in my water as I appear to have conditioned myself at my job not to drink so I don't have to run to the loo in the middle of a session....old habits die hard but one I am working o n changing.

If I can't be honest about it, what's the point, eh? At least now I can track improvement...lol and I am open to suggestions :-)

Good for you :) I could be honest..and mine really isn't that bad...but it's no where near as good as that :)

I just had a bowl of peaches and some cherries...I was disappointed because the peaches aren't hard, but I found most of the hard parts...and they tasted so good! Like a very sugary peach juice! :)

Don't be too hard on yourself. You're doing pretty good and I imagine better than most people. Personally I have gastrointestinal issues and I found eating this way keeps the symptoms away.

I am lazy. I like to cook but when it is just for me, I often don't bother :-(. I try to have only minimal processed foods around and I don't like left overs. My kids are picky so when they're with me it's like cooking 3 different meals. I am on vacay this week so I am going to take the time to do some menu planning and pre-prepping stuff so it doesn't seem so labour intensive at meal time :-)

I have zero desire to cook today for dinner....I have quiche, but nothing to have with it. There are veggies in it, so I don't want veggies with it..maybe I could make some fries. Like just cutting up potatoes and putting them in the oven...I don't think I have potatoes...hahah :) This thread is bad...I have to learn to keep these rotating ideas in my head...in my head...and not out on here :)

Edit: I found potatoes! :)

I can't imagine anyone wanting to cook on a Friday evening. My wife baked sweet potatoes already and I'll defrost a package of veggie burgers for dinner

What kind of veggie burgers do you get? I found the Lick's ones not bad, but I have yet to find one I really love

I had the Pad Sew with chicken last night too! :) Good huh? I just wish it had more veggies...I didn't get much of that chinese broccoli. I wonder if you can get the chicken and then add veggies too?
