I use a number of methods for maintaining my emotional well being. I meditate and pray at least once a day. I have been working my way through a year long meditation and prayer program called A Course In Miracles. I find that taking the time in the morning to remember what I am grateful for on a regular basis also makes a significant difference for me. We can easily get caught up in being ungrateful for all the things we don't have instead of remembering to be grateful for what we do have. True joy comes from the connection we have with every moment of our lives.
