Ive started drinking tea but i find im really not used to the aroma of most of the more flavourful ones, so ones like peppermint and chai so far have been difficult for me to overcome the pungent aroma, while more simpler ones like orange pekoe and english breakfast are a bit more tolerable since they almost taste like coffee jr lol.

Almost time to test some green tea out soon, but the only stuff i can find handy is a mint green tea, hope it works out!

Whoever made this thread must have been deleted or something, I never much liked the hot green teas that i have tried, cant seem to grasp the flavours of tea. I tried a few after this but nothing stuck.

my sister is a hardcore loose tea fan, she tried me out on some bagged teas, and minimal amounts of her oh so prized loose leaf :p, was wasted on me, not going to lie, im so used to crappy tims coffee and english breakfast teas (which i basically consider coffee jr). Cant seem to grasp the appreciation for tea :/ Good stuff is wasted on me.

Still working on introducing new tastes, and stuff that ive ignored/hated for most of my life as part of turning a new leaf, so im sure i will get back around to trying again later this year.

I would probably be willing to bet that a mint green tea isn't going to be something you find enjoyable if you have a hard time with the aroma of teas like peppermint and such. I would recommend you start with a plain old green tea. Tazo is a great brand that sells a very pleasant green tea, but a visit to any local organic food store, or even the local grocery store should be sufficient to find a variety of green tea blends and options. I personally enjoy green tea with a hint of lemon or honey, or both.

I have been drinking Jasmine green tea for over 15 years. We drink every morning 2 large mugs of green tea (2 measuring cups) and I drink mid morning my 3.+4. cup of Jasmine green tea and my 5. and 6. one in the afternoon. I noticed a big difference in my weight, digestion, skin and over all look and feel better :D It helps when you have someone to join you :) Yes the taste one has to get used to.
