If you have any kind of savings you should definitely look at an offset mortgage. Two reasons, firstly you're not earning any income on your savings at the moment, interest rates are too low. Secondly, if interest rates go up you'll pay tax on any earnings you do make. Offsetting can avoid both problems. |
