I heard mixed reviews about SB. Two people I carpool with got SB on my referral ... LOL ... I heard about them from the forums, and then I told them about it ... both of them got it ... and now after a month, one of them got it disconnected (haven't gotten the refund yet, but he was told that he will get it). He says that the service had intermittent problems ... and the reasons he was given is like "your signal is jumping from one tower to another tower", "our tower got struck by the lightning", etc.
So, he got fed up of the excuses and called to have it disconnected, and said he was treated really badly by the guys on phone (I wouldn't call them customer service reps), as he says they have only two people that answer the phone ... the first one is tier-1 guy - John, and then tier-2 guy is Tom.
My other carpool buddy who got SB as well says his service is ok ... he says that there are intermittent issues, but he is getting used to it (used to it?) LOL. He too agrees that the customer service is not the best, but as long as he doesn't call to complain, they are nice to him.
I was planning to switch over, but after those reviews, I have decided to stay with good ol' Cogeco

Atleast I can attest that their customer service is the best! Prices are good as well (not comparable to SB), however, comparable to the market.
