Thought of having a live-in nanny? Working parents always struggle with daycare options that best suits their needs. Because of the shortage of childcare for Canadian working parents, our government offers a program called the "Foreign Live-In Caregiver Program", this program is available to everyone.

We take great pride in placing the best nannies, thus every placement remains successfully because we remain the ONLY agency to provide an In-Home Assessment to "get to know the family" and talk about a personalized "CARE" plan based on your families needs. At that time, we will provide you with a selection of nannies that would be well-suited for your family. Your welcome to review our database of nannies, however our success rate is based on our personalized and on-going support.

Our nannies are university or college graduates, with a wealth of experience as a nanny with previous employment working abroad. We carefully screen our nannies, by previous work experiences, character references, international police clearances and a full medical report prior to arriving to Canada. Many of our nannies are referral of friends and families, we also have a very close alliances with an agencies in Hong Kong and Taiwan that have been successfully recruiting caregivers for over 20 years.

It takes approximately 3 to 5 months for your nanny to arrive. Your nanny is paid $9.25 per hour for 40 hours. Based on that figure, your out of pocket expense is approximately $1200.00 per month, compared to daycare being $1600- $2000.00 per month and more.

A nanny is a extension to your family, somewhat of a blessing. She is responsible for the care of your children on a daily basis, by providing meals, tutoring, circle time, and many other daily activities. The nanny takes the children to play groups, the park, the library etc. She is responsible to maintain the house, a deep clean on a weekly basis, while freshening up daily. Ensuring the laundry is completed and healthy meals are prepared. Thus, giving you more quality family time, stress free.

Avanti goes the extra mile by also implementing a "Candidate Welcome!" What sets us apart, is that we pick up the nanny at the airport and the nanny engages in a 3 day orientation based on your "Care Plan." We are confident once she has completed her orientation, she is feeling much more confident and will integrate into your household comfortably.
