Hi,

I have a door opener installed but giving me some issues. My door is getting stuck when I try to open it.

Would you be able to fix it?

Thanks
Ash

Hi Ash,

Try testing the movement of your door first to see if it is actually the opener or not. To do this, pull the red cord to disconnect the door from the opener and open and close it manually.
What brand is your opener, and approximately how old? If you would like, send me a pm with your details and I can call you.

Jay

Hello Everyone,

First of all, I must say THANK YOU to every one on this forum for the massive amount of support I've received in the last year or so. I started this as a part time initiative to make a few extra bucks for my wedding. I've since been married, but I've enjoyed working for everyone so much that I have continued to run "Odd Job Jay".

The bad news is that I will be taking a "break" for the most of November and December due to a broken hand. I will continue to help those who I've already scheduled or committed to help in the coming weeks. This will be with the help of a couple assistants.

I'm also continuing to supply and install garage door openers, as I have two people that I've trained to install them with me.

If you have any other work that would like to be done, PM me and I can recommend someone reputable to take care of you. There are certainly some other Handymen on this forum as well that can help you as well.

Thanks Milton!!

Jay W.

Yup another positive review for Jay. Great disount on a belt drive opener (for the cost of his chain driven ones). He even came back to relocate the inside keypad once we installed a door from the garage to the house (no charge at all!). Awesome guy.

Had Jay install our Garage door today what a great guy. Sears was supposed to do it for us yesterday and never showed. I touched base with Jay and he fit me in last second and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. Thank Jay. Cheers
