Yoga for Enhancing Mood.

Emotional imbalance can show up in many ways. However it shows up for you (lack of engagement in life, sluggishness, negative thinking, constant worry, insomnia), Yoga for Mood has shown to enhance your frame of mind, and provide practical tools to assist you in returning to your emotional centre.

Yoga teaches and encourages you to develop the mind-body connection because the body is also home to the nervous system, which plays a key role in depression and emotional well-being. So although the mind gets a lot of press for its role in emotional imbalance, low mood is a body issue as well.

Yoga poses are a form of meditation in motion, calming the mind and cultivating a state of relaxed but alert concentration the postures help to release built up tension and emotional stress, which burrow into the muscles of the body.
Nelumbo’s Yoga for Enhancing Mood incorporates 3 yogic tools to help balance mood and develop the mind-body connection:
1. Yoga asanas (poses),
2. Pranayamas (Yogic breathing)
3. Mindfulness meditation.
