nelumboyoga therapy also offers a beautifully relaxing, candle-lit, restorative group for those who need something gentle, yet effective to bring the body into balance (nervous system and hormones!) and reduce physical and mental tension & stress. Group size is small and intimate to ensure individual attention.
This class meets you where you are physically (no matter if you’re a triathlete or have reduced mobility). Here, we offer a chance to step away from the busy-ness of the outside world to access the deeper wisdom that resides within us.
Requirements:
-must be breathing,
-no experience necessary,
-a few extra blankets,
-comfy clothes,
-a willingness to do something good for yourself.
Class includes:
-mindfulness meditation
-restorative / therapeutic asanas (poses)
-guided relaxation
-a soft nudge if you fall asleep.
