We got hardwood floors on the main floor, hardwood stairs, fireplace, double sink in the ensuite and kept the original layout.

Can anyone tell me how deep their fridge is? I'm thinking of getting a 35 1/4" but afraid it might be too big. Also thinking of getting a 165 cm long breakfast table but also think it might be too tight... thanks.

We went to DC to pick up the external color last weekend. Wood lily (not corner) got a new color package called SS-5 which has a very similar stucco color of TS-18 (which only available on wood lily corner). We chose that as our first choice. Did any also choose that?

hey, wood lily (not corner) owners, if any of you have installed wood floors for your wood lily, could you please tell me how much square feet it is for the first floor (except kitchen, foyer and wash moon). Many thanks!

Really? Based on the plan map, the size (great room + living room + den + hallway) is about 600 square feet. How can it be 752 sqft? Did you also include the hallway of the second floor? :-)

You are the closest with the correct measurement but no installer should add 25% for waste!

5% is a standard procedure & is more than enough. So 580 - 600 sq. ft. will be enough for the main floor based on my calculations

Around 720 sq. ft. should be with upstairs hallway incl. waste.

rrknight, I am wondering what happened to the leftover wood from your 752 sq. ft. measurement :wink:

And also did you actually pay them for 752 sq. ft. to install?

You guys are right, I had to look for my old measurment scrap papers.
I did all the rooms on the first floor (Den, Dinning, Living room and hallway), second floor hallway and master bedroom was 1006 sqft.

The whole first floor plus second floor hallway was 752 sqft

the first floor (Den, Dinning, Living room and hallway) only was 610 sqft.

All 3 measurements included 15% for waste. I ended up with 3 boxes left (20sqft per box) which I got my money back. So it doesn't hurt to get extra, you will get your money back anyways.

That sounds better. I had a feeling your numbers were slightly off

Not all places will take hardwood back & if they will, there might be a re-stocking fee of 25% added.
