Bulkhead in kitchens, and Coffered Ceilings in other rooms :).... They were going to charge around $300ish per room, but when they started building they put them in for free. They needed to run a few pipes and things through them... I like the look, but now I need to add pot lights in them...

Almost done the drywall, brick and siding up.... So far, so good.... When I get pot lights in the coffered ceilings, it will look sweet.... Hopefully it will be cheap :D

Hey dopher, that's a really good idea...I think I've seen a few ads in this forum about pot light installation for around 69-79 bux a piece, which is way cheaper than Mattamy's price.

We really don't like the location of our electrical panel. Has anyone been able to get the builder to place it somewhere else? I inquired about this, and they said they were going to move it, but went to look at the house, and it was placed as per floor plan.

No, never asked, but it is in a stupid spot, right at the bottom of the stairs. Good Luck with trying to get them to move it... :)

no not yet.... But i bet it would look good... I also want to do the valance lighting in the kitchen. $$$$$$$ :(
