I think this is the upgrade list for phase 4 but pretty sure it will be the same for phase 5 people too. Thanks for uploading the list, wish someone would do it for the Wood Lily. :(

Thanks so much, Mike10199. I downloaded it just now -- very interesting! Even though we have a different model in 5a, it really helps with initial budgeting. Thx again.

What do you guys think about having the sink and diswasher moved to the island? I think that would give a lot more counter space for small appliances and possible even a pantry.

We are not closing until May 09 and have not got a price package yet. Mike, do you think you can ask if this change is possible and how much it would cost?

Mike, do you know how much it costs to upgrade to larger basement windows for the Walnut?

Mike,

Is there an option to get 'open to below' for the walnut? I think that's what it's called to have the hand rail and stair pickets instead of the wall leading to the basement. I saw this at one of the model homes in Cambridge and it really opened up the space. Thanks.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Thanks for getting back to me Mike. Too bad it's not an option.[/quote]

Mike, I've got one more question for you. My husband and I went to the open house at the design centre yesterday and spoke to one of the design reps there. One of the upgrades that we were thinking of doing is move the laundry room to the basement and convert the upstairs laundry room to a 3rd bathroom. We were talking to the design rep and we mentioned that we were thinking of opting for this upgrade. She told us that that was something that we had to choose at the time we signed our purchase agreement at the sales office. She suggested that we call Nick at the sales office to confirm this, but I wanted to also check with you before we give the sales office a call. The alternate floor plans, did you get to choose those at your design appointment, or did you have to choose them at time of purchase at the sales office? We are a bit confused b/c we were not given any floor plan alternatives at the time of purchase.

Appreciate the quick response Mike, I took a look a the RF and can see why she would think that we had to choose it at the time of purchase. Thanks for replying.

Went yesterday to have a look. Looks like 9ft first floor option comes with huge windows. They are everywhere at first floor and they are huge.

kf095, where did you see a walnut under construction? It would be fun to see one as we still have a year for ours.
