Yesterday, I got a letter from Mattamy stating that "Due to the delays incurred in the registration and permit process" my closing date for Vista Ph 7 has been extended for one and half month. Normally most of the times mattamy meets its commitment with regards to the closing date. But depending on the circumstance just like my case, the closing date could be extended as per the purchase agreement.

They told me phase 8 will "likely" be delayed, but said at most a few weeks.

Mattamy said they will send out a letter 90 days prior to closing to let us know.. I'm scheduled to close in may 2013.

I find it amusing that Mattamy - who pretty much owns this town - is having delays in permits...

^ Truth, I'm on Reichert CRT and permits were already put out before I purchased. I believe it's called an inventory home.
