The metal roof above the garage and nook are not so pretty. It actually really bugs me.

Does anyone know where the house(s) with the "mistaken" shingle roofs above the garage and nook are?

I'd like the same mistake.

I like the metal roof look and it's a more expensive roof compare to shingles. Everyone has a different taste in roof. The mistaken shingle roofs is on Savoline at HVE. I don't think Mattamy would mind if you want shingles instead of the metal roof. It will save them money. :D

Hello,

Does anyone have pictures of the Woodlily, Elevation C fully completed? I would love to see pictures showing the sides and back of the house. I am wondering if the home is all brick with stucco, or if there is some wood/siding in the back end.

I am hoping it is all brick but I think we may end up with some siding in the back. This requires more maintenance and upkeep. You end up having to sand and re-paint it every few years depending on the weather. If it is wood or siding, does anyone know if there is an option to change the section to all brick/stucco? Is one better than the other? I am guessing Mattamy would say 'no' to changing anything on the exterior because they want to keep everything as planned and architecturally pleasing to the area.

Any idea? Any pics?

Thanks for any feedback on this.

It's all brick if you picked Woodlily C. You should of seen the brick color on the exterior package you picked from the Sales Office.

Here are some pictures from the side and back of the Woodlily C.

The only thing that are not bricks are the kitchen and Master Ensuite Windows.
Seen on this picture, the one in the middle is a Woodlily C.

Thank you for the pictures rknight and your prompt response.

Do you happen to know what the materials are that are along the back of the Woodlily C, around the kitchen window and master bedroom?

Thanks again,

Thanks RKnight.

I thought it was wood in the back. So, the house is not ALL brick and stucco after all.

:(

Gorgeous! I like the exterior selections of this Woodlily too. If anyone knows the package and choices selected, please let us know. Good picks! The bricks, shingles, stucco and stone, do compliment each other well. I noticed that there is no metal roofing on this corner Woodlily C, I wonder why it was changed?????

Where is this Woodlily C located?

Thanks!

Hi Tanfitz,
Congrats on the house. It looks lovely.

What is wrong with the Nook roof? Are they replacing the shingles with metal instead?

You were missing a open bracket on your second picture IMG code.

Hi Tanfitz,

I can't believe your home is almost ready! I am sure it'll be perfect.

I am wondering if you can let me know what kind of upgraded stairs you picked (stain) and the cost? We want to get hardwood stairs in our new house. Also, which cabinet selection is that? Of course, we won't have our price list or choice options for a long time so I am enquiring/budgeting!

Thanks for posting pictures of your interior. It is really helpful.

Good luck with the move. I hope it is a nice day for your big move.
Exciting :P

Has anyone figured out how many square feet are needed to lay hardwood on the:
1) main floor
2) upstairs hall
3) upstairs bedrooms

You are probably looking at 700-750 sqft for main floor (Carpet Area only) and upstairs hallway.

If you want to do all the bedrooms too, then just add the sqft to the 750sqft.

Hope that helps.

Tanfitz - Love the colour of the hardwood - what is the name of it? We have that exact one in mind. If you don't mind us asking....how much was the upgrade? We're thinking of doing the hardwood floors on the main floor, upstairs hallway and the stairs.
Your house looks great....it's so exciting to be able to see one almost finished.
