Good news...my complaining to Mattamy has rendered some success.

My powder room electrical outlet has been moved and now the mirror wont be off center. Yay !!

Snowy: Haha, all of our complaining gets us places, we complained about the hose in the garage and the fact that we didn't have any insulation inbetween the front bedroom window and we got it haha. :D

Looking good Snowy :) I deleted the mirrors in the powder and ensuite - so I'm dreading to see where the electrical outlet ended up and if it's going to be placed ridiculously like yours was... I have not been able to get into my house for 2 weeks now, it's hard being patient! It's locked up tight! I think it'll be the PDI until I'm in there again.

Stacy - how did you know the insulation wasn't in? Did you happen to catch it before the drywall went up? I've heard of that before from Mattamy - bay windows that weren't insulated, etc - incredible that they do that really!

miltonemm: I wish that we did that with the mirrors and the towel and paper rod but my husband wanted it so we had to have the tacky plastic ones. lol
Are your windows closed solid in the basement? if not you can always jump in through there like we do :D
You have cabinets though, I peecked through your window and kinda saw the kitchen cabinets.
We say it before they started the trim and we told her about it and then when they had the trim on we did a simple knock test and told them about it so now we have insulation and the trim is still on the floor. :? It was our front bedroom middle window and I'm surprised that they give that little care into their jobs in order to just skip a few things that aren't even expensive to be done in the first place. Oh well there's always problems in a home :(

Didn't think about knocking... lol... will have to give that a try :) I know somebody who proved their point by ripping out the drywall - it worked, they fixed the drywall and insulated - the Mattamy person had said it was fine... the owner said no it wasn't, Mattamy stood their ground... you get the picture.
And yes - house is locked up tight - no windows, no doors open at all... Ah well, shouldn't complain - safe that way! I saw that I had my kitchen in too! I can't wait now... I got the PDI phone call today ;) I will post pics of the inside when I finally get in again!

miltonemm: We were tempted to rip it off but my dad siad that mattamy could sue us for trespassing, but we wrote laurie a nasty letter and they fixed it. :D I wanna see some pictures :D
Snowy: They would have just left your mirror if you hadn't complained about it. We keep on complaining about the towel holders not being leveled and they aren't doing anything about it, not that I care because I'm going to replace them, but if I wasn't laurie would have another nasty letter
