I was wondering if anyone has any pics of the Plan 5 with the stairs by the kitchen. Or if you know of one that is being built? Any pics of this model would be great please. Hopefully if they release more we may be able to buy one. If anyone has any prices for upgrades that would be great too.

THANKS!

I dont have any pics of this house, nor do I own it. But I did sneek into my neighbours when they were building it.
The downstairs wasnt to my liking, I really enjoy the open feeling and with the stairs right in the middle it felt closed off to me. But the upstairs is fantastic. They had it as a 4bd, and if I could have taken their upstairs and put it on my downstairs, it would have been the perfect house for us.
I dont think it's a bad house, just the downstairs felt too separate to me.

The stairs is my biggest concern too. My husband and I are debating between Plan 4 and 5, but I fell in love with Plan 5's upstairs part. I am so scared I may really not like the stairs in the kitchen of Plan 5 but I s badly want to see it in living color. Sometimes the plans don't help at all. I wish I could take Plan 4 downstairs and put Plan 5 upstairs, because Plan 5's walk in closet is yelling my name.

Is there anyone with a Plan 5 that has pics please?

I live in a plan 4, next door is a plan 5. if you are looking for a HUGE closet (seriously, like a small bedroom), get the plan 4 and put the laundry in the basement...that's what we did and we couldn't be happier!

I would say plan 4 is more open concept- the stairs in the back of the plan 5 are actually nice. you should just go knock on a plan 5's door...i'm sure people wouldn't mind if you took a quick tour :)

We have a plan 5 and absolutely LOVE it! We moved in three months ago. We were also nervous about the stairs at the back of the house, as it is not the norm. However, it actually makes the home very unique. Many people comment on how different (in a good way) it is. We were debating between plan 5 &6 and opted for plan 5 because it was cheaper and we could use the money for upgrades. We chose not to have the fireplace and love the 2 large windows in the back of the house with the garden door in the middle. We upgraded the stairs to oak with white risers. I would love to post pictures, but am having a problem uploading my pics from the camera to the computer. But, I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. It really is difficult to purchase from paper. I guess with all the demand Mattamy does not have to build model homes, lol.

bump.

Was wondering if any has any pictures of this constructed layout. Really interested in how the stairs look linking into the great room and kitchen looks like.

Lot of plan 4's and 6's, but not too many 5's. I'm sure this layout is fine, but helps if there's something to visualize the layout.

thanks.

Hi,
I don't know if you are still looking for a pic of 36' plan 5, but I was able to find one on another forum. It is not the first pic posted but the second one.
Enjoy!
