Hi, does anyone have any pictures they can share with their homes in natural oak floors and stairs. I may have to go this route as opposed to darker floors and stairs since staining costs so much. I'm stuck on how I would decorate my house with natural would considering all my furntiure is dark brown/espresso colour.

Do you this it will look silly? Any pics or adivce would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Tasp,
We decided on natural oak, however we don't close until October.
From personal experience, I would recommend going natural over dark if you have pets, young children. We had espresso hardwood in our condo and eventhough we sold after 7 months there were plenty of scratch marks. You may need to change your colour scheme if you're going light. We decided on grey carpet and we'll probably do a black or grey sofa with a bright coloured carpet. We went to an open house of our floor plan (cherrywood) and loved the look of natural oak. It will be so much easier to maintain. Good luck with your selection!

If you do decide to go with natural hardwood stairs, get your hardwood floors installed after closing, it will be cheaper than Mattamy & better quality
I can provide you with a quote if you want.

Here are some pics I found on MLS of natural oak floors, hope this helps :)
