I believe the Upland is very simular to the Wintergrove (released in the first Escarpement Phase)... very nice house, my hubby wanted it but we purchased before they released these new models. Jennifer |

The lastest link I posted was model a home is in Ottawa under a different name (Sandfield). |

| Post subject: | Difference in sq footage b/w Towngate and Upland |
Hi, If I understand correctly, the Towngate includes the finished basement area in their square footage. This area is a hallway, a small study area and a cold cellar. That's my only guess, because like you said, the room measurements are essentially identical. If you visit the home, you will see the square footage covered up on the nameplate for the model. I think this is because they no longer include the basement area, and only count the main and upstairs in the measurements. |

Hi Teetee, The "look over foyer" opens up the great room, giving it even more sightlines through the home. It looks really nice. I think my wife and I will be choosing that option. |

I would also like to know what color that hardwood is. Think the Design Center can tell us? |

Hi Uplander1, Thx for sharing those lovely pictures of your new home. It looks good. I'm wondering what the name of the granite/quartz is for your kitchen countertops? It complements the dark burgundy cabinets quite well. thanks, |
