Theres a boat repair place at the back of the building on the corner of Main and Thompson that sells them. Its in the same building as the golf shop and computer shop that faces Thompson. Its hard to find because you have to drive behind the building down to the end where all the boats are.

Tried the Kiosk, just as an FYI to everyone, no fishing licenses at that one. Drivers license and health card only.

I was able to get a fishing license from Meadowvale Canadian Tire in Mississauga for about $20.

If you need a new license you can get one from the customer service desk at the Canadian Tire at the Meadowvale Town Centre (on Winston Churchill north of Britania) I went there last week to get one for my wife ($20) and also to get my in-laws a 8-day non-resident license($25).

If you just want to renew your license you can do it online.

They usually sell them at Canadian Tire. I'm actually surprised they don't sell them at Milton's CT.

Try Le Baron or Bass Pro.

Can anyone confirm if Canadian Tire Milton stopped selling them?

Also, does anyone know of a place with a decent selection of fishing gear in Milton/ Burlington?

I was at Canadian Tire in Mississauga and the selection was horrible. I haven't checked our local store, hopefully it's a little better.

Walmart has a great selection and some of the best pricing as well. Unless youre looking for high end gear.

When I was kid there was a tackle shop right on Main street. We used to go down there and pick a new lure every couple of weeks. We would think that new lure was going to catch us the most fish ever from the Mill Pond. Good old days!
