Hi,

we are looking to buying appliances for our new home closing in november. I would like to know the best brand for all the appliances( washer, dryer, fridge, stove, dishwasher). we prefer stainless steel. Also the best place to buy them!

thank you,

Shiv.

I heard KitchenAid is great, however we went with GE Cafe due to the styling

Bosch for Dishwasher hands down, they're the quietest on the market, sexy looking, a large number of them exceed the energy star standard by 80%, If your looking for the best your probably going to end up with a miss match of appliances that may not look as nice together, I wouldnt go with more than 2 different brands in the kitchen. Theyre definately not the best but I am extremely happy with my appliances,

HDI7052C,Bosch,Stove - love cooking every day with gas heat, best stove I've ever had or used

SHX43M05UC,Bosch - Dishwasher super quiet always gets my dishes clean and costs almost nothing to run

KBRS22ETSS,Kitchen-Aid,Fridge - solid fridge, well designed looks great

KHTU705SSS,Kitchen-Aid,Hood - a little loud if you have to turn it on high but does the job really well especially for gas stoves where exhaust is important.

I dont have any recommendations on microwaves beause Ive never really owned on in the past 7 years

We bought ours from Goemans prices are good and the service is amazing they were pretty good about price matching with big box stores. I dont know about Mattamy Discounts, but if you know someone from remax I think many of them get 25% off at the brick.

There's also the Sears Dealer store located right in Milton. I carry many appliance brands including Kitchenaid, JennAir, Bosch, Samsung, LG and of course the Sears Kenmore brand.

If you have a quote or see any appliance advertised by a local competitor at lower price I can price match plus 10% of the difference.

In case some of you don't know, a Sears Dealer Store is an independently owned business, I'm not a Sears employee but an agent for Sears selling a subset of the Sears product line. Through the store I sell major appliances, electronics, lawnmowers, snow blowers, garage door openers, vacuums, exercise equipment, air and water treatment products and some others I haven't thought of. My store is also a catalog pick up location for items ordered through a catalog or online at sears.ca. I'm a local business man who lives in Hawthorne Village.
