Wow Rob...your stairs sound like they are going to be beautiful. I've always wanted hardwood stairs with a berber runner...but I think I'm probably going to do it after closing.

They would be nice.. but we couldn't afford that ;-) We actually did that in our first Mattamy place but that was only one staircase. We had this one stained (the pickets and the rail), but the actual stairs are berber. We looked at some aftermarket hardwood options for the stairs and somewhere down the line we'll have them done that way because it cost WAY less than going through Mattamy.

April and Rob,
I had hardwood stairs in mine where I put a berber runner from my second floor to the third floor where all the carpet on the third floor is berber. They call my berber castletwist. It is a different kind of berber and cost about half of what the other berber cost.

We got the same thing throughout the house (except the living/dining room which we're having done in hardwood) It looks really great :)

They called earlier this week; they have actually suggested an appointment on the weekend, as opposed to after hours, so that we can see some of the houses in the area that used various brick options in broad daylight.

Greetings April, Joel, Maiya and Andrea. Nice to meet you. We purchased the Brentrock model in the elevation A style.

Gerry and Banu,
I really like your model. If I had to do one of the mainstreet detached I think I would be doing your model except with the solarium. It is really nice.
