What size is your lot?

If you have 36' or larger you don't have to pay for the garage door entry, it's included. I'm just asking because your picture looks like it's a detached.

Don & Carmen,

Wow - Thank you so much for responding to us so quickly and with such details. That was a lot of typing for you. I'm sure your list will help many other Wood Lily purchasers too!

That is wonderful. It is good to have some figures to work with prior to being called in to make our selections.

There are so many helpful people on this forum. We are so glad we found this HV site.

:D

Thanks,

9ft ceilings were definitely in our mind. but we decided that, this being our first house, it was not extremely essential. we went with many extras that we did not think would be an option. first house with a walkout basement and mostly everything we love in a house is more than anyone could ask for! we are happy with our decisions! :)

Hi Jesta

The servicing work has already started in the Vista area for the hydro, gas and other underground utilities which preceed the foundation work which should be starting in the next few days by the looks of the heavy equipment movement and amount of material on the site.

I check on the site every weekend to see the progress of the neighbourhood which is in my ward and the neighbouring Fieldgate subdivision to the south where the water and wastewater servicing is being done to serve both areas.

The Intracorp homes area to the north of the Vista area had the technical report approved last month at council and should be starting their site work soon for the first phase of 50 homes near the intersection of Savoline and Main St. West. (check the sales office maps of the Vista area)

Hi Colin,
do you know if the Intracorp development will also be fully detached as in the Vista site?
Also, is there a proposed date as to when those houses will be built?
Thanks!

Hi busguy

All the lots are in the 40-60 foot wide range of detached homes. Check out the Intracorp Homes web site or milton.ca and type in Intracorp at the site search icon to see the proposed lot plan. The second phase still has to come back to council for approval and servicing allocation. They plan to start site clearing and servicing this year for 2010-11 closings depending on sales etc.

Also the initial meeting for the Mil Con One development was last week for 87 detached homes north of Jelinek Terrace and east of Savoline siding and backing onto the creek valley and row of trees north of the Vista area. Mil Con One is a division of Fieldgate Homes and is looking to build about the same time period. Check out the agenda for the February 17th Administration and Planning Committee for more details and lot plan.

Hi Don & Carmen,

Could we bother you once again? I wonder if you can post the price for switching to two double (french) doors, in lieu of the standard doors they give you in the den for the Wood Lily. Also, how much is it to do the Nook/bedroom in the Mirage hardwood?

Thanks so much.

Satmatrix - not a bother...but unfortunately we don't have that info. The info for the french doors are not in our package, and since we purchased elevation A, it does not give us the option for hardwood in the 'nook' area.
Sorry we can't help with that one.

Welcome to the forum everlasting!! I've added you on to the main spreadsheet. I'm sorry to hear about the price changes for cabinets- what a pain. I can't believe it's taking them so long to get their act together with the price lists. Please let us know if you get a chance how big a difference the prices are.
