We went to check on the house today and were pleasantly surprised...lots of work done in the last couple of days.

They are Cartier Cabinets. The colour is Wenge, Style is Malibu and they are a 1 level upgrade. The counter is Jamocha Granite.

Lovely house. Your cabinet style and colour is great. We are looking for the same. Unfortunately, in HV Vista we get to pick from Frendel Cabinet choices and not Cartier

What colour stain did you select for the Oak stairs? Also, the arched entranceways/door ways look great. Were those upgrades?

The stain on the stairs is Mirage Vienna and yes the arch ways are an upgrade!

They charge 1000$ for that pantry here in HV16A, anyway thats july 2008. Yeah , 1000-1200$ is a good estimate

Do you remember how much the 1 level upgrade was for the Malibu cupboards? We have this as our first choice along with same counter. We are thinking of going white with the cupboards however. Thanks!

The level 1 upgrade was approx $1,000 but we were originally supposed to have Canac so the their upgrade price was honoured. Not sure if the price has changed now with a new Cartier price list.

Christine from the warranty office mentioned that she hadn't seen our kitchen choice before so maybe someone else might be interested in seeing it. We did stay with the standard cabinets but upgraded to the Executive, I think

I know I just posted but I wanted to see if anyone had done this or considered it. We are pretty set on the idea of taking out the closet on the main floor to open up the hallway, kitchen and family room.
There isn't anywhere else to put a closet, we had discussed building one into the garage but with two doors already on the landing we dismissed that. We're thinking of putting a nice cabinet along the family room garage wall- eventually one day building a built-in unit (dreaming now)
