lol.... I'm lazy... that's sorta why I wanted an updated map with lot #'s and names...

btw, here are some pics of the "rotted" wood that I was talking about... maybe it's just knots? maybe in some area's those pieces of wood aren't actually going to stay there??? or maybe I'm just too anal :P

Thank you for the pictures!

I am totally stoked about the lamp posts! I never noticed them before!

So we have been talking about getting a home inspector to come with us on our frame walk... of course that could be a few more months away.

What do you all think? Is the $200 worth not worrying about whether the thingie fits into the do-hickey or whatever they notice that I am sure we won't?

Michele & Amanda

no problem, it's exciting to see the progress eh?

I'm definitely down for the home inspection.... just not sure how/when the best time is to use his services? it's $200 per visit? or is that included for say the frame walk and the pdi? or pdi and 30 day?? etc...

From what I understand the framewalk is solely a courtesy and some people haven't been called for theirs - so not sure if an inspection would be necessary. Also, from what I've read, during the the PDI, an inspector is not 100% required as per Andy, BUT I could be wrong. I know for sure that one should be hired for your 30 day and 1 yr inspection.

I'm low on my # of posts so I thought I'd add my 2cents ;)

So looking forward to meeting you all in person when we finally all move in!!

As my lovely wife was saying the frame walk is a courtesy thing, they won't allow you to bring a home inspector.. but take LOTS of pictures of EVERYTHING.. that might come in handy down the line...

Hey Ed, thanks for the updated pics, the lane is looking great! Not quite sure, but I think they are knots... better check with Andy to be sure.

I noticed your place has the Solarium! looks nice... in some ways we kind of wish we got it as well... the balcony at the front was a nice idea at the time, but that extra living space is a huge bonus... especially considering how big our back balcony is...

We never see anyone on the Lane, its a ghost town on sundays when we usually go. Btw, thanks for all the updated pixs on here, Laners. I haven't logged on in a while, i've missed a lot!!

no, it wasn't me, I wasn't wearing a yellow t-shirt.. I think it was White... but I KIND of remember seeing a blue Accord now that you mention it??

we typically go on Sunday's as well, but we knew that there would be tons of rain, so we didn't want to get caught in the muddy mess... and no worries about the pics, my pleasure!

Yes, we got the solarium. We originally had elevation A with the solarium, then we were driving around & saw an elevation B with a solarium & balcony in front. We ended up changing it about a week after we bought the house. I thought you had the solarium too?

no, we decided against it... what was the price difference again? something like $6000?? I liked the idea of a balcony facing the front... but then again I think it's great to have that extra space inside the house now and that room is now massive! either way, no regrets...
