We've been there for a week now and it's great to finally be in our home. Very quiet at night and dusty during the day. We have neighbours around us so it's great to finally meet them. Traffic on the streets during the day can be hectic with all the construction vehicles and parked vans/trucks, but other than that, we're happy to finally have moved in.

Just got our call for out PDI- so exciting!
We're having it next Thursday the 20th. We're starting to get excited about moving into our first house but I haven't been enjoying all the outgoing moolah! hahaha

We aren't moving our stuff until the week after we get the keys. We'll be doing the floors, running gas lines and getting our shutters while sleeping on a mattress on the floor. We're probably not the only ones...

Anyone else renovating?

we got our floors done through the builder... cost a bit more, but we have a little fella and wanted it done for when we moved in... this includes the gas line too. We are getting the shutters quoted this week. The shutters dont actually take long to install , and is a rather clean installation. I instsalled the central vac, which was rather painless too. Otherwise, it wasnt that crazy for us... just the basic moving in troubles (ie. "where the hell did I put that" :wink: )

Good luck with your renovations... Im sure it will be worth it once its all done!

We are seeing a ton of nice big red bows and even 1 for sale sign on one of my dream homes...it's the primrose plan I believe.

Is it possible to obtain the mail box early? I.E. Move in 2 months but would like mail routed to address now?

I totally forgot we'd have to pick up our mail for awhile, We'll be able to pick up mail on Tuesday and Thursday only as they close at 5:30 on the other days. At least they have until 7pm pick up on two days.

Where are they going to put the mailboxes- at the entrance at Tremaine and Pringle? I guess if I don't hear back I'll ask on Thursday at our PDI- if I remember :o)
