Hi guys/girls,

Was wondering if anyone knows what stores will be going into that plaza? I heard the North West corner will be a Rexall.

Hi Peter

This retail area should be under construction later this spring with a bank, drive-through restaurant and mix of stores and offices. The site will look similar when completed to the other two Mattamy commercial areas at Derry & Trudeau and Derry & Holly which have similar corner sites.

Not quite related but do you know if Rexll will be blending in with the neighborhood or will it be a giant eye sore like all their other ones ?

I heard TD bank is going in the North West lot, or the South West lot can't recall. If banks on both sides are happening, it'll be BMO or Scotia if anything as we got an RBC, CIBC coming to the shoppers plaza. :)

I like Hero Burger, but the two times I've been there there was basically no one else in the place. Not sure we could handle 2 of them in town...

Another bank? Are we going to have all 5 major banks build a branch within HVE?

PLEASE ***DO NOT*** put Tim Hortons in there as the restaurant with drive-thru. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't want Scott & Derry to become a parking lot.

Put a Starbucks there instead. :oops:

Plus there is already a Tim Horton's at bronte and derry ... not that that's ever stopped them before ...

Maybe the drive through is the bank? o.O

Hope so - as long as it's a TD. :wink:


The TD will be across the street in the Rexall Plaza.

I'm thrilled to hear we are getting a TD in our neck of the woods! :D Now as for the drive thru- is it definitely going to be a coffee joint? We need a fast food joint instead like a burger king or mcd's or a&w.

I think you need to rephrase your comment- well you might not need a fast food joint but an occasional burger/fries never hurt anyone.

Since we already know that we won't have a Grocery store in either plaza, any word on whether there might be a Rabba opening up (or something similar)?
