Has anyone had constant run-ins with the security guards in and around Leitch Landing? The security guard keeps booting us out when we go check out our house...and it's during the day in broad daylight...after 430pm....The Mattamy brochure specifically says we are welcome to visit /view our house as often as we want...what the heck is the problem?

You are free to visit your house anytime if you book an appointment. They would never put in writing that you can go into a construction site anytime you wanted- huge insurance risk.

Either make a call for an appointment or take your chances, it's really up to the security guard. Try making friends- waving letting them know it's your future house. Essentially until the house closes it belongs to Mattamy and if they don't want you there you can't go in. It's not your house yet. If you get hurt Mattamy has to protect themselves from liability.

It's also "understood" that lots of people visit their homes at their own risk and in no way can Mattamy condone this. Try picking a different day or time...

Good Luck!

We normally go at odd hours to see the progress of the house and the security guard has never said a word to us. The funniest one was we parked about 1-2 car lengths behind him and the second my wife and I exited the car he took off around the corner.

Otherwise today we wanted to take my wife's parents and went during the day and since we knew they would be working on the house we actually called ahead and they said it's fine just be careful as it's slippery with all the rain.
