I am not sure if you guys are aware, but the south side of Coombs have foundations put in on the inner half. The outer half is being dug up and they are starting the bases for those. The hydro box appears to be in front of lot #30. Lots #24-28 have foundations up.

Also, Mattamy University appears to be set for June 24th. I probably won't be there due to the G20 Summit, but Isabella may go.

WHOA! G20 Summit? Are you Harper's personal body guard?

We had our pre-construction meeting yesterday. Got to meet Joe (site builder) and Tom (sr. site builder and Joe's boss). Both seemed very nice and super knowledgeable. They are both excited about our Phase 3 b/c its one of the smaller ones they have done, 44 homes versus the norm of 200+. They said the foundations for the north side of the court should be done next week. I don't know if everyone was aware but our homes are Energy Star and will produce something like 3000 tonnes less carbon gasses than an avg home, which is pretty neat. Apparantely the windows are Low E argon gas and are good enough to withstand winters in the Territories :)
I also mentioned to them that the next Coombs get together is happening on June 12th....they seemed interested in coming along to meet everyone.
have a great weeken!

3000 less tonnes...whoa! that's gotta be the lifetime of the home right? That is a significant amount.

So we were bored and drove by the site.
- almost all the foundations are in, except the northside of Coombs
- lot's #16, #30 have hydro boxes in front of them
- lot #24-26 are being built

Hello Coombsers!
Sorry, I went back to work a couple of weeks ago and just have not had time to check in here.
YAY GNAD family!!!! I've been thinking of you guys and wondering about their arrival. I hope everyone is settling in well.
Kerri and Rich, sorry you didn't receive the invite. I'll check back and see why you were missed.
I also realized I haven't picked a location. I'm thinking Shoeless Joe's. I'll try to call tomorrow to make sure they can hand the reservation size.
We'll likely be bringing our boys (just a warning)
Anyone have the builder's email and I can send him an invite. In going back to work, I totally forgot to book a pre-construction meeting with him. Is it too late do you think?

Any thoughts on this? I thought they had something in play to build a ramp on Tremaine? Does anyone know where I can retrieve more information regarding this matter?

Regards,
Sunny & Geeta

Hi Sunny & Geeta

The full Highway #401 and Tremaine Road interchange is budgeted for construction in 2013 (see attached) with more information to come via regional newsletters.

http://www.halton.ca/common/pages/UserF ... leId=26640

The Tremaine Road widening from Derry to the new Main St. W. traffic circle tender will be approved by Regional council later this month as well as the new Main St. W. bypass by Milton council on June 28th for construction this fall.

Hi Colin,

thank you for the response. I must be going blind, I did not clearly see the item indicating the 401/Tremaine interchange being built. Was this document changed recently? Perhaps if you can point out the correct ID # on this attachment that would be great. Perhaps it is worded differently, you did say 2013, I couldn't find anything related to that.

Regards,

The reservations are made. Please check the evite for the details of location. For those bringing kids, if you could let me know if you need a highchair, it would be helpful and I can let them know ahead of time so it's all set up.
Looking forward to Saturday!
