Next time it would be appreciated if you would be BRAVE enough to knock on our door and be civil and NEIGHBOURLY and tell us that the dog poop that is cleaned up every few days, on our own lawn, is upsetting you enough to warrant a phone call!!!

&%$@ cowards!

Just so you know, NO, we didn't get a ticket. They didn't see any reason to warrant one! What with only three pieces on our lawn...

Oh and the next time anyone dares to blatantly bring their dog over to pee on our front lawn (ie. they aren't taking their dogs for walks they are walking right to our lawn instead of their own just to let their dog go and then walk right back home...) you can bet you'll get an ear full!

Yes... in case you're wondering... I'M PISSED...

You read correctly.

And yes, an immediate neighbour... most likely, which REALLY sucks since I know most people around here and consider them FRIENDS. Some of them even good friends...

Yep, my own damn lawn... when everyone else around here has perfect lawns because they take their dog's to other people's lawns and the park to go...

ARGH.

Maybe I should start calling parking enforcement every time someone parks illegally in front of our place...

*edit* for grammar

I didn't think they could enforce dog poop pick up on your own property???

(assuming its your own, not the town owned boulivard between the road and sidewalk)

You might attract a totally different audience than you intended with that statement... :)

Maybe that's why they were to scared to walk up your door. :P

Anyway, that is your own version of the story though. Backyard poo and calling OSPCA sounds over the board, is your yard fenced? OSPCA caller, defend yourself !

Ok, I will edit that... lol...

Anyway, yes, my own version - there are always two versions of course. I am actually a reasonable, friendly, person...

I'm just hurt and angry that someone would actually do that without talking to me first. Especially since I have always said here that although some things may bother me, I'd always talk to the neighbour FIRST.

No, no fence yet... we've only been here a year...

This has piqued my interest... I love all European stamps. and antique teacups as well.

Too late to the party, Kiddz!
hehe

Fenceless backyards can cause issues - perhaps the neighbours behind you and one over had a party, and one unattended visiting toddler roamed the lots and slipped and fell in your 'stuff'. Then everybody's to blame, in theory. It's still no excuse, and I'll go on record saying it wouldn't be fair for me to have an opinion on this since I'm not a dog owner, but I'm just saying there's a chance it wasn't even one of your neighbours that called it in. :(

Unfortunately, you might never know.
