Does anyone know a good butcher to buy quality meat??

Some people also mentioned Agram's raises their own meat and has their own butcher?

I picked up some striploins from Dave & Cindy McCann of The Beef Block this past weekend. They raise, butcher and package their own cattle. They are the cattle farm down at the corner of Thompson & Britannia. It's been the family farm for 200 years!! They raise their cattle on a combination of pasture and grain. The prices were quite reasonable. $8.99/lb for the striploins (compared to $13.00/lb at Metro!!).

We BBQ'd them yesterday and they were really nice cuts. I'll be going back to them again. They are at the fam market every weekend. You can also call Dave's cell phone to make an appointment. He asks you call ahead because often he's out in the field.

I've also tried Agram Meats up Trafalgar Rd and they are nice too. I can't remember how the price compared.
