How come no one ever mentions the house on Derry and 8th line? There has to be serious bylaws being broken there, especially if everyone here has poop on their lawn, or uncut lawns that are infractions?

Just had me thinking about it, as I see this house everyday, yet never see it mentioned. Guess it's cause it's not directly impacting our neighbourhoods? But should it be the first house people see entering into Milton?

That's funny that you should mention this, as I shake my head every time I drive past it. I am surprised that people actually live there. The siding has peeled off the front of their house and you can see the insulation showing. It is quite the eye sore especially for people who are just entering Milton. Something should be done with that house or the home owners.

Isn't the prison also one of the first things we see off the HWY 25 exit?
It guess as long as the prison yard is clean.

I'm not sure why everyone is so bothered by that house.
They don't seem to be bothering anyone.
Just don't look at it when you drive by.
They are far enough from our lovely suburbia.

Yes, you see the prison when you enter down 25, but it is well maintained and is NOT an eye sore. Don't get me wrong, the idea of ex cons walking the streets doesn't make me all warm and fuzzy. But I guess having all those men and women housed there, they have a good reason to have immaculate property.

As much as I don't "want" to look at that house when I drive by, it is like rubber neckers at an accident....you just can't help but look.

Hoarder house! I thought is was a commune or something ! For the longest time it looked like it had an outdoor worship area on the driveway adjacent to the house. I drove by there for the first time in a long time a few weeks ago and believe it or not, I actually thought it looked like they had cleaned it up some! I was wondering if ownership had changed. The outdoor signs or whatever they were that made me think it was some sort of worship area look like they've been taken out and there seemed to be less junk than previous drive-bys!

Anyhow, I know of a house that looks to be even worse for hoarding. You might have seen it if you drive north of here. If you drive north on 25 past Acton until you get to Ospringe and then take a left... on the left side there is a house with a porch that is FULL of stuff!!! And the yard is FULL too! I've never seen anything like it!!! Although, it does look like the outside of the house is kept in good shape!
