Hello,
Just wanted to let anyone know who doesn't already know that the home Show is at Exhibition Place. It is running from the 7th to the 16th. One the website you can buy your tickets to get in a nd you will get $3 off.
We went today, and it was huge. For anyone thinking of getting the central vac from Mattamy I would definitely go to the Homeshow and see the Eureka people there. They are right near the entrance. We bought ours there today and got a great deal.
It consisted of:
1 CV1801 (that is the Unit Mattamy installs in the houses that are over 3000 sq.' but Eureke will give you a better grade of motor) for $619.99
1 Toe Kick for $150.00
1 Deluxe hose kit (hose kit already comes with Unit but we wanted to upgrade to a different one) for $50.00
Plus a bonus atlantic steam spot remover and an electric spinbrush and a sound muffler which they demonstrated for us and it makes a big difference for free. Also, this includes delivery and Install to the garage.
for a grand total of $819.99 + Taxes = $942.98
All you have to do is leave a deposit and they will hold it until you move in.
Mattamy id going to charge you $1219.00 for a builders grade version of a lower version then the one above + $274.00 for a toe kick. thats $1493.00. You will save $550.00
Take Care,
Sounds like a deal.
One thing to keep in mind though is that if you
do not purchase the central vac through Mattamy, they will run the rough-in-work to the basement. It is an additional charge of approx. $250 if you would like them to run it to the garage to install yourself later.
Indeed this in a easy way for them to get a piece of the pie even though you're looking elsewhere for your central vac. Darnit.. they win again.
