Where did you hear this info from? Their website does not mention anything.

That's great news! My wife and I love Snuggle Bugz! If you go on their facebook page, someone asks if they are coming to Milton, and they said yes. And that they are going to start stocking the shelves next weekend.

Direct competition for an existing, more affordable baby boutique "Ten Tiny Fingers" run by local mums / sisters.
www.tentinyfingers.ca
Keep local family business bustling!

Their location is at the very back of the Fabricland business plaza on Main St (across from Winners / Shoppers)

+1 for Ten Tiny Fingers. Was in there for the first time this weekend, to pick up some baby shower gifts. It's a small store, but has TONS of stuff. Great quality and great service. I love supporting local non-chain businesses.

My wife and I had plans to go "all out" on quality furniture, and other stuff.

After a reality check, we decided to go with basic "Wal-Mart" stuff. We saved a lot of money and can go with better furniture when he is older.

(but we did splurge on the Bugaboo stroller)

In my opinion, all these brand names are such a waste of money! I would rather top up the child's RESP...

I agree with you for 98% of things Kiddan. We got a good quality crib - I wanted one with a high quality metal mattress support because of safety issues with particle board ones, but went to an outlet place so got a great price. One thing I don't mind spending money on is car seats (we have a Britax Marathon, Frontier and just got a Diplomat for my daughter as her next stage car-seat) to get specific safety features (or in the case of the Diplomat, a seat with the specific safety features with a comprimise on upper weight limit in 5 point harness because I have very limited space in my back seat with 2 kids). I have also found spending money on a good carrier is worth it (I have a bad back so have to be cautious on a carrier that could be too much strain on it in the wrong spots). I'm all for purchasing second hand items or going to Walmart/Zellers/Sears for most things.

I’d rather my kid be cool. What’s the point of being educated when nobody likes you?

If their educated, they won't have to have three jobs to make ends meet, and then they'll have time for real friends.

We went all out... got everything top of the line, spent a lot of money... LOL, he grew out of stuff so fast or doesnt actually use it yet (ie. crib to twin bed... hes out of the crib, but the twin is too big. We had to buy another "in-between" bed for him  ) I already feel bad for the second kid... that kids getting screwed

and we got the bugaboo too... its in the basement collecting dust now! IMO, the buggaboo was the biggest waste... sorry to say. We have since purchased two other strollers (Chariot and Maclaren).

but what the heck... ya make money to spend money 8)

Yes, it brings tears to my eyes seeing him beat expensive furniture with a toy. Even the crappy walmart crib. I could not imagine what it would feel like to have my son beat a $1000 plus crib!!! (they don't know any better at that young age)

Also clothing is a big waste. I have a few outfits at a cost that could cloth a family. Now at 2.5, I just get him the cheapest walmart clothing.
