And, I must say - one of the perks of advanced voting is getting to visit a gorgeous heritage building like Hugh Foster Hall. If you go down, take a walk through city hall as well. Very beautiful!

Soomro just came to the door even after seeing the Mike Cluett signage. We politely said that we have already voted!

Haven't seen him at our door yet, but did get a post-card.

On the vote-casting side, I'm a techie, but anyone else just find it a little wierd to fill in your ballot form and have them feed it into the counting machine and wonder if it counted it right? For some reason I just prefer the human touch in vote-counting even though it's alot more time consuming and labour intensive and error prone. I know it should be the other way around....

Need to know which candidates are supporting hospital/ education, (as that is who my wife and I will be voting for)... Could care less if there are weeds on the walkways near parks. (recent flyer, Beau something or another)

Thanks

Seems like all candidates would support 'hospital and education', but to the local people making it their platform, it's unrealistic since these are regional and provincial issues.
Of COURSE we all support the hospital, but in different ways. Many of these candidates have actually organized and worked fundraisers for the hospital, which really shows how much they care. Showing up and doing something is ALWAYS better than putting the buzzword "hospital' on your sign with no actual guarantees.
