This topic has been discussed ad nauseum on this site.

Do some searches and you'll get more diverse opinions, but from your list, here are my personal favourites in town: Burritos = Mucho Burrito; Indian = Mint Leaf; Vietnamese = both Pho Milton and Pho Mi 89; Mom and Pops Diner: Louie's Diner. Italian =Brunellos. Japanese = Aji Sai for all-you-can-eat, or Sushi Ya for a regular sit-down place.

Most will agree with me that Milton doesn't have all that many great restaurants, so for authentic Chinese, West Indian, Greek and Middle Eastern, I always go to Mississauga, Oakville or Toronto. I go to most restaurants outside of town, or stick to pizza or fast-food takeout when I stay here.

Pho Milton has much better taste than Pho Mi 89 (89 is a fast food chain like a McDonalds, only reason to eat at 89 is because of huge variety of foods)

There is no great Chinese place I have found yet. Most are at best ok

Willy's Jerk has best Jamaican

Thai House has best Thai (although little spice, I think they make it like this because of market)

Aji Sai is probably the best Sushi place (Japan Buffet is alot better at Brampton location for some reason)

I am puzzled by inclusion of steak house in best ethnic restaurants?

We just had Aji Sai takeout for dinner last night. It was pretty good, but still not quite as good as my beloved Midori Sushi (alas, no longer with us). The presentation was pretty sloppy and the fish could have been fresher. Of course it could just have been that it was Boxing Day.

That said, I did like the tempura makis - unconventional but tasty. And the price was quite reasonable.

Also, for Italian I highly recommend Osso Bucco. Not cheap and I don't know if they do takeout, but their seafood risotto is a religious experience. I love that when you ask for the specials they bring over a whole blackboard with a couple of dozen selections.
