Has anyone driven up Hwy25 past the 401, and noticed a (mining) plant of some sort on the west hand side?
I wonder what it is, I did a google earth search and came up with this.

There are a few quarries around this area. You may have read lately that this particular one wants to expand and has been met with resistance from residences in the area. I do not follow it to closely so I don'y know if this is still an ongoing dispute or not.

This quarry sits on the edge of the Bruce trail.
If you zoom out you will find some more. My nominate for the tools of the day is one just beside Tremaine Rd. Every time you go to Kelso you will see it.
Here is the link to opposition for the new one, which is going to be another nature killing, because it is going to be from the west end of the same hill. In the area close to Mountsberg and Crowford Lake.
