I just got a puppy!! A beautiful German Sheppard named Max.. who needs to get some shots done.. anyone have any good vet suggestions...

I know from having a horse that some are more expensive then others and just wondering if you know anyone who is reasonably priced in Milton?

Valerie - we take our dog to Dr. Ross Dawson, Animal Hospital of Milton on Main St. He is great with our dog and doesn't push for unnecessary spending. His staff is very friendly as well.

Here's the contact info:
Animal Hospital of Milton
491 Main St. E
905 878 8853

Good luck.

Dr. Ball in Brookville is amazing.

He's on Guelph Line, it's a bit of a drive but well worth it.

Congrats on the new puppy! From one horse owner to another I will let u know small animal bills are much higher

I can also highly recommend Brookville Vet Clinic but also recently discovered amazing care and prices at Campbellville. http://cahvet.net/

Best bet is to call around

Tell me about it! I was shocked that my horse bills were less then some bills I had heard from people with small animals..

Hawkins Animal Hospital is amazing. Maybe go for consultations so you can find the right one.

Hawkins for us as well. When we first moved our cat had a little incident and they took awesome care of him.

He then had a problem with his eyes so we took him to another vet. Well that didn't go very well. I never saw my cat react the way he did. He was very angry and wouldn't let the vet touch him. He was supposed to get his shots that day but that never happened. We took him back to Hawkins and he was fine. Weird, maybe he sensed something with the vet, I don't know. He is much happier and content going to Hawkins.

+1 for Dr. Dawson

Never had any issues with level of service or cost. Everything was always very professional and reasonable.

I am a huge fan of Hollybank! They are in the Metro Plaza beside the subway. The staff there are amazing, so much so, my dog has to give everyone kisses when he arrives and when he leaves. The business is always clean and everyone is friendly. Also, I find the vet does an excellent job when explaining things to you about treatments and what other options you could have.
