Here's one:

(3) A vapour barrier is not required where it can be shown that uncontrolled vapour diffusion will not adversely affect any
of,
(a) the health or safety of building users,
(b) the intended use of the building, or
(c) the operation of building services.

There are other clauses throughout the code.

Technically,,,, no.

When you submit a warranty list like the one year list, the builder has a certain amount of time to fix things. Once that time frame ends then you have 30 days to complain to Tarion if the work is not done. If you do not do that then Tarion is done with you.

That dose not mean that you can't submit a list to your builder, it just means that Tarion will not help you if you have a dispute.

2 year issues include any leaks from plumbing or leaks at foundations, siding, windows, etc.

It includes the heating distribution system, electrical, and plumbing.

It includes all exterior sidings, and any health and safety issues like missing stair or porch rails, garage gas-proofing, etc.

The two year list is fairly specific -
