Last time we had a pub night there was a big hockey game on TV (Team Canada). What do you think the odds are that there will be hockey to watch on February 19th?

We're sort of new to this discussion board. Is this pub night only for a specific phase or group of people? We have just purchased in phase 13 and would love to attend. Where will the event take place?

Fabulous! So, it's settled. Every new neighboor is welcome - phases are irrelevant. I hesitate to suggest an exact time as people may come and go and I don't want to discourage anyone who may be running a little late. Last time, I think, by the time everyone was gone it was close to 7:00 pm. Let's leave a loose time of sometime after 4 pm. Any earlier than 3:45 and you'll be sitting by yourself for a while.

Place... I would suggest the place we were at last time only because they had the room to accomodate us all - alas I don't remember the name. Maybe someone else will post it...

Keep letting us know by responding to this one that you are coming. The more people we get, the more will be encouraged to come!

Say, anyone own a t-shirt printing company? Maybe we can all get ones with our names across the front and "I went to the Hawthorne Villager pub night and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" printed across the back!

Our little guy is turning one on the 18th and his grandparents INSIST on having a party for him on the 19th...in Prescott Ontario - imagine! We're so bummed about missing this event but also hope the 3rd time will be a charm. Charley's is a great place! Oh - and about the name tags - the stick on "Hello my name is ______" can be purchased at most dollar stores, definitely the one in the Milton Mall. I would be all for that if we were going!

Would love to be there, UNFORTUNATELY, it is our Engagement party and my mom is throwing it. Seeing as it is for us, I am thinking we should be there! ALthough Chris and I would always rather be in a pub!
Have you all checked out Ned Devine's Irish Pub on Derry? Great food and love the ambience. Many nights of drinking will be had! Nice short cab ride as well! Hung over morning after breakfast is also a must have at Ned Devines! Check it when you get a chance. By the way, the t-shirts are a hilarious idea! Wish we were going!
